Avocado-Orange Salsa


To keep the avocado from discoloring, prepare this salsa just before you cook the main dish. This is an excellent salsa with tuna steaks.

Makes about 1 cup
1 large orange , cut into segments
1 ripe avocado , pitted, peeled, and diced medium
2 tablespoons minced red onion 
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro 
4 teaspoons lime juice , from 1 to 2 limes
1 small jalapeño chile , stemmed, seeded, and minced
Table salt 


Combine all of the ingredients, including salt to taste in a small nonreactive bowl.
