Caldo De Ajo (Garlic Soup) 6 slices dried bread 6 eggs 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 quart beef broth 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper Add the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the beef broth in a large bottomed pan. Toast the dried bread and put in soup. Break an egg on each piece of bread. Cover and simmer until the eggs are poached. Serve the bread with an egg on it, surrounded by the liquid.
