Steamed Corn on the Cob Good way to cook corn without diluting the flavors. Rough instructions... Make a heavy brine in a steamer pot with 2-3+ cups of water. Soak corn in brine for several minutes. Lightly rub some salt into the dampened corn. Place corn in/on steamer. Put pot on high heat, and once steaming continue to steam for 8-10 minutes. Remove steamer basket from pot and keep covered for a few minutes so corn can continue to cook and cool at the same time. Eat when it's at the temperature you like.
